About Capt. Kyle Tomek:
Kyle Tomek is an avid saltwater angler, licensed USCG captain, fishing guide, and outdoor writer. His articles have been published in Texas Fish & Game, Texas Saltwater Fishing Magazine (Gulf Coast Connections), Gulf Coast Fisherman Magazine, Lone Star Outdoor News, and Matagorda Advocate. Through outdoor writing and fishing, Kyle recieved the Dan Klepper Texas Outdoor Writer's Association Scholarship and was featured on an episode of ESPN II's Bass Tech. Understanding the need for ongoing conservation in our coastal fisheries while attending TSU, he and three others established the very first Texas State University Coastal Conservation Association Chapter. Serving as a board member for the chapter, Kyle teamed up with offshore fishing fanatic Matt Richter and launched "Texas State Outdoors", the university's first outdoor radio show. Currently, Kyle is obtaining a degree in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University. In his spare time, he guides fishing trips in Matagorda, Texas and writes in outdoor publications to afford this goal.
